Layouts Update

So I have been trying to get caught up on posting some of the layouts I've worked on over the past little while, here are a few.  Lots more to come.  Today is project day, so I will try to make time to post some picture of what I am working on.

Cards, Cards and more Cards

I've been so busy working away on projects that I keep forgetting to post pictures.  So, I've attached a few from Mother's Day, Father's Day & Birthdays.  I have a lot more to share in the near future.  I also have been looking into an opportunity in the Scrapbooking industry where I can keep my full time job but also work in the industry.  Nothing has been decided yet, I will keep you posted!!!

First Project Life Page

Well I finally did it!!!  I made my first Project Life Page!  It was super easy and fun.  My daughter was so excited to see the page.   I feel like running out to print off some more photos and doing more pages.

Thank You

My wonderful Aunt, not only is always been a big part of our lives but she always is so good to us.  We just had a lovely visit with her and attended a family wedding.  She was so kind to open up her house to our family.  I made this card for her and I'm sending off a but picture of her puppy we took when we stayed their.

The Perfect "Pear"

Just a little something for my Uncle & Aunt.  I was their flower girl and they are celebrating 32 years.  Congrats!!

Get Well Wishes

I made this card last night.  I saw something similar on pinterest and thought it was cute.  The only thing I would do different is not put a face on the bandages or not emboss the middle part where I have the faces.  When I was trying to draw the faces, they got a little messed up because of the embossing.  I tried to fix it but it didn't turn out as nicely as I would have wanted.  Even still, I know the person I am sending it to will enjoy it and it will put a smile on their face.

SMILE - Birthday Card

This one is one I did a couple of months ago, simple but sweet.  I sometime don't have a lot of time to craft with three little ones, so I get up early before I go to work (I'm usually up at 4:45 am) and make things.  This one was made at 3:30/4:00 am, not bad for being made so early in the morning.

Butterfly Birthday

My Grandmother's favorite colour is blue (same as me), so I decided to make her a card with a spring feeling in shades of blue.  I have to admit I love these 3D butterflies and you won't believe where I got them - DOLLAR TREE!!!

Wedding Card

Thought it would be fun to do something a little different for a wedding card.  I always seem to do white or cream and not very much colour.  Hope you enjoy this little card.

A New Year

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.  Looking forward to this upcoming year.  Lots of projects to work on and some scrapbooking retreats.  Just a couple of photos for Christmas to enjoy.

Giveaway & Crafting

Northridge Publishing is having a Doodlebug Giveaway. I love this collection, it is so cute! I have to admit I am drawn to bright and colourful collections. I find sometimes Fall/Thanksgiving collections have no colour in them but a dull brown, yellow or orange. When I think of fall I think of bright and vibrant colours. Check out the Giveaway!!

Tonight, the kids are sleeping and my husband is off helping his brother. So, I am home crafting on the living room floor watching Game of Thrones.

International Teacher's Day

October 5th is International Teacher's Day, since this year its a Saturday, we as a family celebrated it on Friday, October 4th.  I decided to make this cute and simple little gift.  I found the idea on pinterest.  As usual I waited to the last minute to make it (9pm the night before), so trying to find the perfect ribbon was  a hard task.  I ended up finding something cute but not exactly what I wanted.

I arranged the M&M's in the same colour pattern as the poem.  This is what the poem said:

 

 

The Teachers loved it and my son was so happy to be able to give them a gift.  My husband says I was kissing up to the Teacher.  Really I think they deserve a gift, plus they have to deal with my son, who is a miniature version of my husband - God Bless Them!

Product Talk

Everyone has their favorite companies but one of mine (I do have many) is Bella BLVD.   I love their bright and playful patterns!  They are on my reading blog list and I had to share today their upcoming product line - it is sssooo cute!!  Its already on my shopping list and I recommend everyone to get it.  They also have a giveaway going on right now, stop by and check it out - Bella BLVD Giveaway


I came across this and I fell in love!  The 360 Crafter's Rolling Bag by We R Memory Keepers.  I always have issues with the wheels on my rolling bags.  Its on wish list for Christmas, check it out.
